Connecting people and places while having good fun among friends.
Whether you’re looking for an opportunity to get out of the house, meet new people or keep active, our Day Clubs could be just the thing you’re looking for.
We have three centre-based and multiple community based programs, each tailored to a different group of customers including CALD, Dementia and Men’s specific services. All our clubs provide a warm, welcoming space to relax, spend time with old and new friends, or join in a variety of activities. Transport is provided to and from our services to eligible customers as well as freshly prepared meals from our Food Services team.
Stirling Day Club caters for seniors from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, while our Nollamara Day Club caters for seniors from an English speaking background, living with Dementia and a Vietnamese group. Our Scarborough Day Club caters for active individuals who enjoy group outings both in centre and in the community. The club also offers a variety of program’s including its Connect2 service which caters to smaller groups (usually under 12 individuals) to access the community for a half day program. Our Men’s specific programming offers a wide range of activities catering for men’s interests as well as a focus on building mateship and a network of support. All clubs have a focus on wellness and assisting customers to maintain their independence. In addition, all of our Day Clubs offer a range of physical, mental, social, educational and culturally specific activities to choose from and are guided daily by our customers on additional activities of interest.
If you receive government funding via Commonwealth Home Support Program or a Home Care Package, the cost of Day Clubs is heavily subsidised by the government, with a small cost payable by the customer.
