Good fun amongst friends
Whether you’re looking for an opportunity to get out of the house, to meet new people, or to keep active, our day clubs could be just the thing you’re looking for. We have three centre-based clubs and one mobile club, each tailored to different groups. All our clubs provide a welcoming space to relax, spend time with friends, or take part in activities.
Our Joe Camilleri Day Club in Scarborough offers people with a disability aged 18-65 a place to learn, grow and celebrate their abilities. With a strong focus on the arts (including theatre, singing, dancing, crafts and art), we encourage you to identify your interests, participate in skill development and awareness activities, engage with the community, and enjoy yourself. There is also the opportunity to be part of the annual concert performance for family, friends and the local community.
Stirling Day Club caters for seniors from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Our Nollamara Day Club caters for seniors from an English speaking background, and a Vietnamese group, as well as running a Men’s Group focusing specifically on men’s interests and activities. Both clubs centre on wellness and assisting you to maintain your independence. They offer a range of physical, mental, social, educational and culturally specific activities to choose from.
Our mobile Dianella Day Club caters for individuals with reasonable mobility who enjoy group outings. Transport is provided from your home to the meeting point at Jim Satchell Community Centre in Dianella, where morning tea and an activity of interest are on offer. The group then heads off to a tasty lunch at a variety of locations across Perth, before being safely delivered back home.
