Activities in the community and at home
Do you sometimes wish you had some company at home? Would you like the opportunity to get out to interesting activities with someone who can meet your specific needs? Our friendly, reliable support workers would be happy to join you, either at home or in the community.
Spending time with you at home could include reminiscing over a cup of coffee, playing cards or board games, sharing a meal, recording your family history, or teaching you how to use your computer or phone. We could also join you in the garden or for a leisurely stroll.
Alternatively we could visit places of importance to you, take you to your craft group meetings, offer advice in picking out new clothes, or take you to places of interest such as the local art gallery, library or museum. This is just a sample of the activities our support workers could join you in.
Sometimes you may find that your carer needs a break or has to tend to other needs. If this is the case we can offer them time off for short periods by keeping you company and attending to tasks that your carer would normally help you with.
